Jim Messina, the former Obama aide, is joining the board of crypto wallet company Blockchain.com.
Messina, with the nickname of “the fixer”, was President Obama’s White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations from 2009 to 2011, and served as the campaign manager for Obama’s 2012 reelection. He is also the CEO of the strategic consulting firm The Messina Group.
Blockchain.com, a London-based cryptocurrency firm, provides a platform to buy, hold and use cryptocurrency. It is looking for government guidelines regulations for cryptocurrency market.
According to the AXIOS’s report, Messina will anticipate in stricter crypto regulation from the Biden administration and other governments.
