After more than half a year of fermentation, it’s finally confirmed that A-share optics manufacturing companies OFilm will withdraw from Apple’s supply chain.

On the evening of March 16, OFilm, a Chinese optics manufacturing company, announced that it had recently received a notification from a “particular overseas client”, saying it will terminate the procurement relationship with the company and its subsidiaries, and the company would no longer obtain existing business orders from the “particular overseas client”.

An informed source in the industry told that the “particular overseas client” mentioned in the notification of OFilm is Apple. OFilm is Apple's supplier for camera modules.

After knowing that, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange issues an urgent letter of concern, requesting OFilm to disclose the time of the termination of the procurement relationship with the “particular overseas client” and the current orders related to it.

The Shenzhen Stock Exchange askes the company to check whether the information disclosure about the change of orders is timely.
