Changan Automobile claims chip development with Huawei is "untrue"

On May 21, it was reported that Huawei is now expanding its cooperation with Chongqing Changan Automobile Co. in smart cars, planning to jointly design and develop automotive chips.

The report is "untrue," a Changan Automobile source responded to reporters.

Huawei indicated that information from the automaker prevails when it comes to public announcements of the cooperation.
