Black Sesame to raise up to $143mn in Hong Kong IPO

Asia Tech Wire (July 31) -- Chinese smart car solution provider Black Sesame International Holding Ltd. announced on Wednesday that it plans to issue 37 million shares through a Hong Kong IPO at a price range of HK$28 to HK$30.3 per share.

Excluding over-allotment options, the company will raise no more than HK$1.12 billion ($143 million).

The company plans to officially list on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on August 8th.

Black Sesame has hired CICC and Huatai International as joint sponsors for the offering.

Founded in 2016, Black Sesame is a high-tech company specializing in self-driving computing chips and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
