Binance has hired Richard Teng, former CEO of Abu Dhabi Global Market, to head the exchange's operations in Singapore as chief executive officer.

Prior to that, Richard Teng spent six years as the head of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and seven years as the Chief Regulatory Officer at the Singapore Exchange (SGX) before joining ADGM. Before joining SGX, Richard Teng spent 13 years with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
