BOE to mass produce 8th generation OLED line in 2023

Asian Tech Press (OCT 12) -- BOE is starting to develop its 8th generation OLED production line to increase the output of small and medium-sized OLEDs, in order to enter the OLED panel supply chain of the Apple iPad in 2023 and catch up with the other panel giants.

Previously, Tianfeng Securities analysts predicted that Apple would launch a new design MacBook Air in about mid-2022. One of the main selling points of this new model is the Mini LED display, and BOE will be the new supplier of Mini LED displays for MacBook Air.
