Apple plans to use OLED displays on selected iPad models starting next year

Industry sources have revealed that Apple plans to use OLED displays instead of LCD displays on selected iPad models starting next year. Apple has reportedly reached an agreement with display manufacturers to provide OLED panels for its iPad series.

If the information is accurate, this will be the first time the iPad series uses OLED displays. In addition to the latest 12.9-inch iPad Pro equipped with a mini LED display, all of Apple's current iPad models use TFT LCD displays.
