Asia Tech Wire (Oct 25) -- Apple has reportedly dramatically scaled back production of its Vision Pro headset since early summer, and may discontinue production of the device's current version altogether by the end of the year.

An employee at Apple supplier Luxshare Precision Industry Co. Ltd. said Apple has advised that the current version of the Vision Pro may need to be discontinued from November.

Luxshare's daily production of the Vision Pro has been scaled back to about 1,000 units from a peak of about 2,000, the employee said.
