Asia Tech Wire (Mar 18) -- Ant Group's digital technology unit is expanding its footprint overseas by striking a partnership with a Kazakhstani bank.

Ant Group Digital Technologies, the digital technology business unit of Ant Group, announced on Monday that it signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Bank CenterCredit (BCC), a Kazakhstan-based commercial bank, in Hangzhou, where Chinese billionaire Jack Ma founded Alibaba.

Under the agreement, mPaaS, the mobile development platform of Ant Group Digital Technologies, will provide BCC with a complete solution for performance enhancement, mobile R&D effectiveness, audio and video, intelligent operations and security compliance capabilities.

With more than 3 million users, BCC is one of the oldest and largest banks in Kazakhstan.
