South Korea's e-commerce platform 11Street, a subsidiary of SK Telecom Co., has reportedly partnered with Amazon to launch overseas direct shopping services.

Through this service, consumers will be able to order Amazon products, such as golf supplies, books, electronics and cosmetics, from 11Street's website starting at the end of this month.

The Korean e-commerce market is currently dominated by Naver, Coupang, E-Mart and other companies.
The main products that 11Street will launch with Amazon include sports and leisure products, household products and books. A company source noted, "Customers will be able to purchase most Amazon products, except for some items such as large home appliances that will involve tariff issues."

The company believes that the convenience and speed of shopping is 11Street's most significant competitive advantage. Consumers can easily purchase Amazon's products through the 11Street website, clearing up problems such as language barriers and cross-border payments for overseas purchases.

11Street's partnership with Amazon is the result of SK Telecom's long-term efforts. The company is also seeking partnerships with Amazon in Southeast Asia and other regions to expand into overseas markets.
