Trendyol is reportedly in talks to raise about $1.5 billion from investors, including General Atlantic and SoftBank Group Corp., and could close the deal as soon as next week, according to people familiar with the matter.

The financing would make Trendyol the only "unicorn" in Turkey valued at more than $10 billion, after reaching a valuation of $9.4 billion earlier this year. At that time, its largest shareholder Alibaba invested $350 million in the company, raising its stake in the latter to 86.5 percent.

Trendyol is the largest e-commerce platform in Turkey, headquartered in Istanbul.
