According to Yonhap News Agency, 1.6 million doses of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine had arrived at Incheon International Airport on August 11 morning.

These vaccines are included in the 66 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine directly procured by the Korean government from Pfizer. Including this batch, Pfizer had delivered a total of 4.13 million doses of vaccine this month.

8.988 million vaccines have arrived in South Korea since August, including AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Modena brands. However, more than half of the 8.5 million doses of Modena vaccine scheduled to arrive this month will be delayed. The South Korean government's plan to import 28.6 million vaccine doses in August will inevitably be affected.
