Chinese electric car maker Xpeng Inc. recently announced its official entry into the Indonesian market.

The company plans to launch its localized production strategy in Indonesia later this year, focusing on the X9 and G6 models.

Through a partnership with local distributor Erajaya Active Lifestyle, Xpeng plans to be the first to sell the mid-sized electric SUV G6 and the 7-seat electric MPV X9 early this year.
