In its 2024 annual report, Xpeng Motors disclosed that the company has the land use rights of a piece of land with an area of more than 1 million square meters in Wuhan, Hubei Province, which will expire in 2072 or later. The company started to build a new manufacturing base on this land in July 2021. As of March 31, 2025, the construction of the new production base in Wuhan has been completed and is awaiting completion acceptance procedures from relevant government departments. The Group has mortgaged several production buildings of the Guangzhou and Zhaoqing factories, the land use rights of the Wuhan base and its Guangzhou Xpeng Technology Park, and the equipment of the Wuhan base for long-term bank loans, with a total assessed value of RMB 5.36 billion.
