Ultraman made a friendly gesture to Musk: Let’s be friends. AGI is too important. Don’t let small grudges hinder us.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has hinted at a willingness to work with Elon Musk to end their feud and work together to achieve artificial general intelligence (AGI). It is worth noting that Musk and Altman have a complicated history, having co-founded OpenAI and now becoming competitors in the same field. On Saturday, both Musk and Altman were embroiled in a war of words over their previous positions criticizing Trump. Musk first cited a tweet from Y Combinator co-founder Paul Graham, which read, "Few people have done more to defeat Trump than Sam Altman." This refers to a tweet Musk sent in 2022 mocking Trump for being too old to continue in politics. Altman also extended an olive branch to Musk, writing, "Anyway, see you next week, let's be friends, AGI is too important to let petty grudges get in the way."
