Uber's European rival Bolt enters Canadian ride-hailing market

Bolt Technology, an Estonian online ride-hailing company and Uber's European competitor, is recruiting drivers in major Canadian cities to prepare for its new online ride-hailing service, marking the company's continued expansion into the North American market in recent days. According to its official website terms, Bolt operates in the US and Canadian markets as the Hopp App. Its driver recruitment website shows that the company will enter five of Ontario's most densely populated cities: Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Vaughan and Richmond Hill.
