At the close of the U.S. stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.05%, the Nasdaq rose 1.26%, and the S&P 500 rose 0.74%. Most technology stocks rose, with Tesla up nearly 10%, Nvidia up more than 4%, Micron Technology up more than 3%, and Meta, Broadcom, and AMD up more than 2%. Intel fell nearly 7%, with Q2 revenue guidance lower than market expectations and the company lowering its full-year capital expenditure target.
