U.S. stock market opens: the three major stock indexes open lower

The three major U.S. stock indexes opened lower, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 1.01%, the Nasdaq down 1.31%, and the S&P 500 down 1.12%. Faraday Future rose nearly 30% after the company announced a new round of $30 million in financing. Boeing fell more than 4% after a Boeing 737-800 crashed in South Korea on Sunday.
