US makes preliminary anti-subsidy ruling on medium-active anode materials
On May 20, 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement to make a preliminary anti-subsidy ruling on active anode materials imported from China, and preliminarily ruled that the tariff rates of Huzhou Kaijin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Shaosheng Knitted Sweat were both 712.03%, and the tariff rates of Panasonic Electric Global Procurement (China) Co., Ltd./Panasonic Electric (China) Co., Ltd. and other Chinese manufacturers/exporters were all 6.55%. The U.S. Department of Commerce is expected to make a final anti-subsidy ruling on September 29, 2025. This case mainly involves products under U.S. customs codes 2504.10.5000 and 3801.10.5000.
