On December 18, local time, the U.S. Supreme Court announced that it would discuss the bill to ban TikTok from operating in the United States again. It is reported that the U.S. Supreme Court will debate the case on January 10, allowing the court to rule on the issue before the law takes effect on January 19. The bill requires TikTok's parent company ByteDance to divest TikTok, otherwise TikTok will be banned from operating in the United States. ByteDance has made it clear that it will not sell the TikTok business.
