Trump claims there are many buyers interested in TikTok

TikTok's "sale or ban" "grace period" in the United States is approaching. On March 30 local time, US President Trump said that he would reach an agreement with TikTok's parent company ByteDance on the sale of this short video app with 170 million monthly active users in the United States before the April 5 deadline. According to Reuters on March 30, Trump told reporters on Air Force One that day that there were "many potential buyers" for the deal. "There is a lot of interest in TikTok," Trump added, "I hope to see TikTok survive." TikTok did not immediately comment on this.
