Today, the National Key Laboratory of Photovoltaic Science and Technology at Trina Solar officially announced that its independently developed high-efficiency n-type fully passivated heterojunction (HJT) battery module has been certified by the testing laboratory (Fraunhofer CalLab) of the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Germany. The highest module window efficiency has reached 25.44%, setting a world record for large-area HJT module window efficiency, which is also the highest record for front and back contact structure crystalline silicon modules, and setting a world record for photoelectric conversion efficiency of single-crystal silicon solar cell modules.
