TikTok issued a statement saying that a recent "exclusive" report published by Reuters based on anonymous and uninformed sources was not true. The above report stated that TikTok is developing a separate application for US users only, which will "use different algorithms and data systems from the global version." TikTok did not elaborate in its response.
