TikTok announced a new data center project in Finland on May 6, local time, taking an important step in the field of data security in Europe. With an investment of 1 billion euros, local developer HyperCo Oy will build a new data center in Kuovola, Finland. TikTok said the new data center is a core part of the "Four Leaf Clover Project", which plans to invest 12 billion euros to provide data protection for 175 million European citizens.
