Recently, Masdar, a global leader in renewable energy and sustainable urban development, announced that it has chosen CATL as its preferred battery energy storage system supplier for the UAE RTC (round the clock) project. The UAE RTC project is the world's largest solar and battery combined energy storage project to date, including a battery energy storage project with a total capacity of 19GWh and a 5.2GW photovoltaic project, with a total investment of over US$6 billion. After completion, the project will become the world's first large-scale all-weather power generation project, capable of achieving 1GW of uninterrupted clean power generation 24 hours a day, setting a global benchmark for green energy development.
