The three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 1.33%, the Nasdaq down 0.13%, and the S&P 500 up 0.13%. UnitedHealth closed down 22%, leading the decline in Dow components. Large technology stocks rose and fell, with Nvidia down more than 2%, Google and Microsoft down more than 1%, and Apple and Netflix up more than 1%.
