Hot technology stocks rose and fell, with Meta up more than 3%, Broadcom and AMD up more than 1%, and Tesla down more than 3%. Social media, non-ferrous metals, and semiconductors led the gains, with American Silver Corp. up more than 4% and Pinterest up more than 2%. The automobile manufacturing and oil and gas sectors led the declines, with Lotus down more than 5%, Bailey Oil down more than 3%, and General Motors, Honda Motor, and Rivian down more than 2%.
