The development of the HarmonyOS ecosystem has made new progress. On August 25th, at the Zhijie and Wenjie Autumn Product Launch Conference, Richard Yu, Executive Director of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and Chairman of the Device BG, announced that the number of devices running HarmonyOS 5 (hereinafter referred to as "HarmonyOS 5") has exceeded 12 million. This was less than a month after Yu Chengdong revealed on July 30th of this year that the number of HarmonyOS 5 devices had exceeded 10 million, once again achieving "HarmonyOS speed." The HarmonyOS ecosystem continues to expand its coverage across all scenarios. At the conference, Yu Chengdong stated that over 50 smartphone models, including the Huawei Mate 70 series and the Huawei Mate X6 series, have already started the HarmonyOS 5.1 upgrade. Huawei also officially launched the Zhijie R7, a smart car equipped with the HarmonyOS cockpit, and the new Zhijie S7.
