In recent years, my country has launched three series of comprehensive measures, including "imported drugs with zero tariffs", "anti-cancer drugs included in medical insurance shall be subject to centralized government price negotiation and procurement", and "anti-cancer drugs not included in medical insurance shall be subject to medical insurance access negotiations". These measures are not only to plug the possible gaps for drug suppliers and sellers to reap the benefits of the policy, but also to reduce the cost of anti-cancer and rare disease drugs for patients. Although the timely price reduction of imported anti-cancer and rare disease drugs after tax reduction is much more complicated than people imagine, after the "zero tariff" policy, the timely price reduction of imported anti-cancer and rare disease drugs and raw materials after tax reduction requires both work efficiency and a timetable. To accelerate the entry of the latest and best foreign anti-cancer and rare disease drugs into the domestic medical field, since the task is clear, the measures should keep up, and the key lies in how to implement these people-friendly measures as soon as possible. It is the most realistic move to facilitate and benefit the people to let patients feel the benefits brought by the "zero tariff" of imported anti-cancer and rare disease drugs.
