The US government has approved the export of advanced AI chips to Microsoft's facilities in the UAE as part of Microsoft's cooperation with G42, an artificial intelligence company in the UAE. Microsoft has invested $1.5 billion in G42, acquiring a minority stake and a seat on the board of directors. G42 will use Microsoft's cloud services to run AI applications. (Securities Times)
