The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index of U.S. stocks rose by 4%, chip stocks rose, and AI demand stimulated the growth of Foxconn's sales revenue. AMD rose by 11.1%, Micron Technology rose by 10.3%, and Nvidia rose by 5%.
