On the evening of July 5, local time in Brazil, under the joint witness of the leaders of China and Brazil, Liu Sushe, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, and heads of relevant Brazilian departments signed a memorandum of understanding on the second phase of cooperation in the docking of the development strategies of the two countries, cooperation documents such as artificial intelligence cooperation. The two sides signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Second Phase of Cooperation Planning between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Civil Office of the Presidential Palace of the Federative Republic of Brazil on the docking of the "Belt and Road" initiative with the "Accelerated Growth Plan", "Brazil's New Industrial Plan", "Ecological Transformation Plan" and "South American Integration Route Plan" to strengthen practical cooperation between the two sides in the fields of infrastructure, medicine, new energy, etc. The two sides signed the "Memorandum of Understanding between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Federative Republic of Brazil on the Joint Construction of the China-Brazil Artificial Intelligence Application Cooperation Center" to carry out practical cooperation in consolidating the foundation for the development of artificial intelligence, providing open source and open services, strengthening the docking of industrial innovation cooperation, and promoting talent cultivation.
