According to MGI, the 2025 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting opened on March 27. At the meeting, the "Fully Automatic Unmanned Black Light Laboratory" jointly built by Beijing Brain Science and Brain-like Institute (hereinafter referred to as "BBI") and MGI was officially unveiled. This is the first full-process automated cohort research support system in China, and is the joint output of the "BBI-BGI Joint Laboratory". At present, the project has been operating normally for more than one year, realizing the full process automation of sample packaging, extraction, library construction, sequencing, data analysis and storage. By building a complete tool chain under the national production ecosystem framework, it ensures the high-throughput circulation of high-quality samples and data, providing effective support for brain disease research and new drug development.
