The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) announced Thursday that it approved Sunwoda Automotive Energy Technology (Thailand) Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Sunwoda, to invest more than 50 billion baht ($1.48 billion) to build battery production facilities in the country.
