Tesla China announced on Friday the launch of a refreshed version of the Model Y with a starting price of 263,500 yuan.

Specifically, the new Model Y starts at 263,500 yuan for the rear-wheel drive version and 303,500 yuan for the long-range all-wheel drive version.

Tesla China said the model is the longest-range Model Y ever, with a range of up to 719 kilometers.

The new Model Y has been upgraded in terms of appearance, cabin, and range, and is expected to be delivered from March.

Interestingly, Tesla China has come up with a tagline for the car that reads, "Refreshed Model Y, just compare".

In response, Xiaomi founder, chairman and CEO Lei Jun retweeted the slogan on Weibo on Friday, saying, "OK."

Xiaomi has announced its second electric vehicle, the YU7, which will go on sale around June.

The car is an SUV and has previously been compared to the Tesla Model Y.
