Ma mentioned several key words in his speech at the annual meeting, including focusing on the main business, sprouting new buds from old trees, and reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

Looking back on Tencent's business over the past year, Ma believes that Tencent has implemented cost reduction and efficiency improvement well.

He said in terms of the overall environment, there was some pressure in the second half of 2024, and the new quarter after October began to improve.

In addition, Ma focused on Weixin or WeChat's idea of doing e-commerce, saying that WeChat will spend a long time to be an e-commerce ecosystem connector.
