Tencent's official Nintendo Switch Weibo account announced that the Chinese version of the Nintendo Switch will cease repair services for the Nintendo Switch console, Nintendo Switch (OLED version), and related accessories on December 31, 2026. Officials noted that the Chinese version of the Nintendo Switch announced on November 26, 2024, that it would gradually discontinue the Nintendo eShop and other network-related operating services from March 31, 2026, to May 15, 2026. At the same time, officials stated that as a thank you for your continued use and support, a "Rewards Program" for all Chinese version Nintendo Switch users launched in November 2024 and is currently ongoing. This program will allow users to receive redemption codes for up to four free downloadable Nintendo games or utility software. The program will end on March 31, 2026, and eligible users are advised to claim their rewards as soon as possible.
