On August 25, Tencent announced that the Chinese version of the Nintendo Switch will cease repair services for the Nintendo Switch console, Nintendo Switch (OLED version), and related accessories on December 31, 2026. Officials noted that the Chinese version of the Nintendo Switch announced on November 26, 2024, that it would gradually cease operating the Nintendo e-store and other online services from March 31, 2026, to May 15, 2026.
