South Korea's largest semiconductor expo opens, with more than 500 chip companies including ASML participating
The Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) said on February 19 that South Korea's largest semiconductor exhibition "SEMICON KOREA" will open on the same day at the Korea International Exhibition Center (COEX) in Gangnam District, Seoul for three days. South Korea's two major chip giants - Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, as well as Micron Technology, GlobalFoundries Semiconductor, Kioxia, ASML, Applied Materials (AMAT), Lam Research and Tokyo Electron (TEL) and more than 500 other chip companies will participate in the exhibition to introduce cutting-edge semiconductor technologies. Applied Materials, GlobalFoundries Semiconductor, Micron Technology, Infineon and Kioxia will also participate in export negotiations and hold business meetings with Korean companies.
