Sony Group released its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025 (April 1 to June 30). Revenue for the quarter reached 2.62 trillion yen, a 2% year-on-year increase; operating profit reached 340 billion yen, a 36% year-on-year increase; and net profit reached 259 billion yen, a 23% year-on-year increase. The company maintained its full-year revenue forecast for fiscal year 2025 at 11.7 trillion yen, but raised its operating profit forecast to 1.4 trillion yen and its net profit forecast to 970 billion yen.
