SoftBank and OpenAI set up joint venture in Japan to provide AI services

On February 3, Masayoshi Son, CEO of Japan's SoftBank Group, said that SoftBank has reached an agreement with OpenAI to establish a joint venture in Japan to provide artificial intelligence services to corporate clients. OpenAI CEO Altman arrived in Tokyo on February 3 to meet with Masayoshi Son, and they will also meet with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba together.
