Singapore is working with Australia on social media age restrictions.

The Singapore government is open to developing a minimum age law for social media use and is talking to the Australian government on the matter, a Singaporean official said on Tuesday.

Australia passed legislation in November last year banning the use of social media platforms, such as Facebook, by young people under 16 years of age.
