At the 2025 Pudong New Area Artificial Intelligence Industry Ecosystem Global Promotion Conference held on July 27, Li Hui, deputy mayor of Shanghai Pudong New Area, made a keynote speech on AI Pudong. Li Hui said that for 35 years, Pudong has always been at the forefront, and under the guidance of national strategies, it has laid out the hard technology industry in the entire chain, forming a first-mover advantage and cluster effect, and forging Pudong's confidence in participating in the global AI competition. At present, the scale of Pudong's AI industry has exceeded 160 billion yuan, accounting for about 40% of the city. In the field of large models, more than 200 vertical model-related companies have chosen to go with Pudong, of which 28 large model products have completed filing or registration. In terms of the layout of computing power infrastructure, the scale of intelligent computing power in the district accounts for nearly 1/2 of the total scale of the city.
