At the 2025 "GongFu® Shanghai" Innovation Conference, Zhang Ying, director of the Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission, said that in the future, Shanghai will actively embrace the wave of artificial intelligence development, promote the deep integration of industrial Internet, big models, 5G, etc., create a new highland of industrial intelligence, and better assist Shanghai's "five centers" and modernization construction. First, we will focus on the frontier to tackle key core technologies. Lead the technological innovation of multimodal models, embodied intelligence, etc. with manufacturing professional knowledge, accelerate the comprehensive application of key technologies, and form an industrial model promotion matrix with "basic-vertical" coordinated evolution and "cloud-edge-end" integration and adaptation. Second, focus on scenarios to lead the intelligent transformation of the industry. For design, production, management, operation and maintenance and other links, explore the establishment of special intelligent bodies such as simulation design and intelligent scheduling, and promote the construction of a value flywheel with deep integration of professional data and basic models. Third, open collaboration to establish an innovative development ecosystem. Explore the establishment of a multi-level technical research and profit-sharing cooperation mechanism among industrial Internet platforms, manufacturing enterprises, large model enterprises, and service providers; cultivate professional service providers such as industrial corpus, model application, software and hardware integration, intelligent computing cloud, and application evaluation; and create an industrial vertical model application ecosystem.
