According to Eastday.com, Shanghai held a press conference for the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence. Zhang Ying, deputy secretary-general of Shanghai, said that efforts will be made to build a pioneer in governance cooperation for the benefit of intelligence. We adhere to the balance between development and security, and have formed a three-dimensional institutional framework with special planning guidance, local legislation guarantee, field policy support, and ethical governance coordination. We will continue to optimize the governance system, implement the "Shanghai Declaration on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence", accelerate the revision of the "Shanghai Regulations on Promoting the Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry", and promote the establishment of an artificial intelligence ethics expert committee. We will actively promote international cooperation, and platforms such as the Global Industrial Artificial Intelligence Alliance Center of Excellence and the China-BRICS Artificial Intelligence Development and Cooperation Center will be put into operation. We have established cooperation mechanisms with 38 countries to promote international AI industry docking and technical exchanges.
