The launching ceremony of the 2025 Shaanxi Province Summer Cultural Tourism Consumption Season and the 9th Shaanxi Tourism Consumption Season, hosted by the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and undertaken by Shaanxi Tourism Group and Xixian New District Management Committee, was held at Silk Road Happy World on July 4. At the event, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism released the key activities of the 2025 Provincial Summer Cultural Tourism Consumption Season, including 1,216 cultural tourism activities with 2,792 events under eight themes and 111 boutique tourism routes in five categories, from history to trends, from cities to the countryside, to create a new cultural tourism landscape with rich content and diverse experiences for tourists across the country. The provincial cultural tourism system will also join hands with online platforms such as Meituan, Tongcheng, Ctrip, and Douyin to launch a series of benefits, covering tourism services such as accommodation, vacation, and transportation, and issue 20 million yuan in cultural tourism consumption coupons.
