Chinese artificial intelligence company SenseTime (0020.HK) disclosed on Wednesday that its share of generative AI revenue increased to 63.7% in 2024.
SenseTime released its latest financial results, showing that it realized revenue of 3.772 billion yuan in 2024, up 10.8% year-on-year.
Of this, revenue from the generative AI business amounted to 2.404 billion yuan, a sharp increase of 103.1% year-on-year, marking the second consecutive year of triple-digit growth.
SenseTime said that the company's share of generative AI revenue has further increased to 63.7% from 34.8% in 2023.
In 2024, SenseTime recorded a net loss of 4.307 billion yuan, narrowing by 33.7% y-o-y.
SenseTime said its SenseNova Big Model is industry-leading in both training and inference costs, thanks to the joint optimization of its AI infrastructure system and model algorithms.
Launched in April 2023, the SenseNova large model family features natural language generation, text-to-image generation, perceptual model labeling, and model development capabilities.
The company noted that its SenseNova multimodal big models continue to rank in the top tier of big models in China.
