Vietnamese Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính met with Samsung Electronics (Vietnam) General Director Choi Joo Ho and his successor Na Ki Hong on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Choi and Na said that Samsung Electronics is currently the largest foreign direct investor in Vietnam, with a total registered investment capital of $23.2 billion, and turnover and export value of $62.5 billion and $54.4 billion in 2024, respectively.
So far in 2014, Samsung Electronics has raised the total number of Vietnamese suppliers to 306 companies.
Samsung Electronics said it will continue to expand the scale of its investment in Vietnam while actively participating in the country's digital transformation process.
