South Korean memory chip giant SK Hynix said on Thursday that in order to consolidate its leadership in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) memory, it has set up two new departments dedicated to the development and mass production of next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) chips in its annual organizational adjustment. The newly appointed chief development officer (CDO) and chief production officer (CPO) will lead the new departments together with the existing three executives in charge of marketing, technology, and corporate center operations.
