The 2025 SCO Digital Economy Forum was held in Tianjin, and a number of digital economy cooperation projects were signed at the forum. China, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Egypt and other countries signed a total of 12 digital economy cooperation projects, covering cross-border e-commerce, smart cities and other fields. The China-Egypt (Alexandria) Digital Intelligence High-tech Ecological Industrial Park project is one of the signed projects. The project will actively use China's latest achievements in cloud computing, digital economy and artificial intelligence to help Egypt's digital transformation. The forum also simultaneously released the "China-SCO Digital Economy Cooperation Typical Cases (2025)" to promote direct dialogue between the supply and demand sides of digital technology among SCO countries.
